My journey has been like the wandering road in The Wizard of Oz. There have been surprises and challenges that have allowed me to “level up” and grow past every obstacle that I have encountered. I stopped counting the number of times that I have fallen down and gotten back up. I did, however, start becoming aware of the times that I did get back up, and what was the key variable that impacted these successes.
Focus is something that you can’t learn unless you have a purpose attached to that focus. To power your different levels of focus it’s necessary to have purpose. This past weekend I taught one of my best friends who I have known over 20 years. When you are 22 years old, there are very few people that you are in contact with for that long, especially ones that have the status of “best friend.” If you have ever tried to teach your best friend something that they know nothing about than you know that you have to be 100% dedicated to the process in order to overcome all of these challenges. My answer to every challenge is to believe in myself and apply focus.
What started out as one of the most challenging Intensive Programs I have ever taught, turned out to also be one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. Side by side Brian and I worked together to take two inspirational students to the next level, while also taking ourselves to that next level too. I decided to record a few video blogs over the course of the weekend, so press play, and enjoy.
Welcome back my friends. Any feedback? Leave me a comment below or shoot me an email at [email protected].
